Whats up guys. Its a possibilitly that i am going to be purchasing an 03-04 g35 coupe. Now im wondering if i can put the 06-07 headlights and tail light in the 03-04 models. Also i would like to know any more swaps. Is the spoiler different if so can that be swaped? And can most of the parts be found on this forum? OR any websites such a grubbs?

 

You can pretty much put everything on the 03-04 from an 06-07, except maybe intellikey, bluetooth.

Headlights swap plug and play
tail lights swap plug and play
06-07 sport bumper swap easily
06-07 spoiler is different than 03-05, but can be swapped easily
06-07 sport side skirts can be swapped easily

anything else I missed?

You can purchase those on the forum, or on ebay for cheap, or parts websites.

stay away from 06-07 headlights on ebay.. .usually they are recalled headlights that were supposed to be destroyed...

we have 06-07 new headlights instock, as well as 06-07 tail likes, US and JDM...

 

US and JDM? Whats the difference. I came across a thread that stated that the whole body of both cars where the same. Except the side skirts? Is that true i thought the bumpers where the same.

The bumpers are the same on the rear for all 03-07
The FRONT bumpers for the SPORT models in 06-07 have a built in lip bump...

The side skirts on the SPORT 06-07 are different, they look more aggressive... They can be swapped as well... New they come painted colormatched!

so the jdm and us tails are basically the same just diff colors. I mean if i get an 03-04 im almost sure im doing swaps. Those headligts are a must and i perfer those tails and the spoiler. Ill do my research to try to find an comparision with the front bumpers.

But honetly you prob deal with a lot of swaps. In my eyes i think its worth it.
To any 1 that reads this thread do you think its worth to do tails heads and spoiler. ?

 

If I were to get a G, I would get an 03-04 with brembo's (MT) and do the headlight / taillight swap, front bumper, side skirts, OE splash guards and call it a day (as far as looks)... the rest of the money I will hopefully save I will spend on performance mods...

Spoilers are nice as well!

You cant really see the amber that well unless it is lit up... in the picture, there is a flash that highlights the amber turn signal housing...

 

thats also what i forgot. Mt only comes with brembos in 03-04. The automatic doesnt come with them corect?

Correct... But you can add brembo easily or add stop tech brake kit!

I can get a NEW set of headlights for $565 OUT THE DOOR including TAX. Just need to swap the ballists...

Tail Light pricing, depends on OEM or JDM... but in the mid 3's..

Spoiler, if you want 03-05 or 06-07 style I can getyou pricing...

 

i mean i dont want you to go crazy yet but i should be going throw with this 03-04 deal. What do you mean by swaping ballists? I have to buy new heads and new ballist or i dnt even need the heads and just swap ballist.

So what would the price differece of the OEM or JDM which do you perfer. Why would there be a difference in price?

 

OEM are MORE than the JDM! its weird I know... its only a 30-40 difference off the top of my head...

The headlights I can sell you for that price do not include the HID Ballists, you will have to remove them from the HID Ballists off the 03-04 headlights... it is a direct swap

*Don't forget that the JDM tails (either 03-05 or 06-07) do NOT have the side markers. BUT....you can retro fit.
