wiper streaks .. very annoying

its been raining hard these days, and i notice that my wipers weren't working very well, streaks across.

so, i went to my local infiniti dealer and purchased couple inserts.

i put them in , and same outcome as what I had before

It could be coating on the glass. Try some real strong glass cleaner. If it has been raining a lot, grease from the roadway makes it up onto your windshield and causes streaking and skipping. A goold solvent (avoid the paint) is Coca Cola. Put it on a sponge and clean the windshield with it and then rinse. Or some good glass wax. I use Rejex on my coupe on all surfaces including windhsield. It works great.

Clean the glass very well first to get the grime off, then use Rain-X

Probably spray wax from a car wash. Coke works great. I generally use Coke first, PrepSol next, then Invisible Glass, then RainX.

Industrial plastic wrap spool on one end of the windshield, an empty spool at the other. Connect them together like a 35mm camera and rotate the spools whenever it gets dirty/wet.

Rain-X works great but you have to get the other stuff off the glass before applying Rain-X.
