Infiniti tells me off

Well not literally....

So Ive been trying to get infinity and the dealer to help me fix this issue of rattling after shifting into second gear on an uphill. The idiot techs wont bother to try and replicate it properly and they dont care. They always come back and say theres no noise. I asked them to go on a test drive with me and they keep skipping out on it saying they have no time for it.

i call infiniti today and she wouldnt try to help me (katie was her name). She basically said there was nothing she could do until the dealer diagnosed the problem which they are doing a **** poor job of it. I told her this and she said she cant help me. I aske for her manager and she said they were all in meetings...im like thats pretty convenient. Get me their voicemail so they can call me back and she refused. UN-F'ING believable. So now what? I like the car man but this pisses me right off. Any thought/suggestions?

Trans noise........?

My suggestion is to go to another Infiniti dealership and calmly explain the
issues you're having and ask that a tech takes a ride with you. That way
you can show them at what point the noise occurs.....Good Luck!

I tried that each time I went to the dealer and every time I go I get the excuse from the tech that they are too busy and do it the next visit. Every next visit, I get some other BS excuse. My home dealer was ok but the others are messed up. Does anyone know a good service centre in Ontario by any chance?

Go to Oakville Infiniti...haven't been there myself but have heard lots of good things about them...also did you try Alta in Woodbridge already? I've been going there and they have been good to me, any issue that they weren't able to reproduce, they were willing to go for a drive with me to check it out. One of the techs that usually worked on my car there was a pretty good guy too, he warrantied a number of things for me that the service manager initially didn't agree to. His name is Daniel Dicintio, didn't see him the last time I was in and I don't go to the dealer too often so not positive if he's still there though.

Call Infiniti/Nissan of America

Only way your going to duplicate the problem is to ride with them...thats why they don't want you to.

Sounds to me like you walk in an stand right in front of the General Manager's office and handle it. If they ask you what you need - tell them respect and just stand there. Worked great for me!

Had complete cooperation within 5 minutes and have been treated like a king ever since. Then again - I RARELY go to the dealer for anything.

I think he's referring to the transmission chatter that a lot of the 6mt's get.
