Alot of Infiniti dealers suck. My dealer wants to charge me $85 for a test drive to see if my car is having transmission problems (6MT). My car is still under warranty so I refuse to pay.

I had that too...its the rear axle pins. Get them to fix it if its still under warranty. I could only hear mine when I went over sudden bumps not gradual ones.

Sounds like it is tranny chatter that I have...everyone has told me about it and as described here it is much worse on an up hill.

:S Has anyone tried to get them to fix it?

they both suck

Woodchester and Oakville Infinity/Nissan are both owned by the same guy. The service at Woodchester is HORRIBLE. I've never been to the Oakville one but I doubt it's any better. Woodchester Infiniti is full of douche bags that do not deserve to work on our cars. The guys are arrogant and don't value customer demands at all.

I've seen a lot of people dealing with 401-Dixie Nissan. Does anyone have a personal experience dealing with 401-Dixie? I'm in desparate need to find a good dealership that values Infiniti/Nissan owners.

One of the techs that usually worked on my car there was a pretty good guy too, he warrantied a number of things for me that the service manager initially didn't agree to. His name is Daniel Dicintio, didn't see him the last time I was in and I don't go to the dealer too often so not positive if he's still there though.

Why not take it to a transmission specialist in your area? Warranty purposes? Try to call an make an appointment somewhere. I don't deal with stealerships a lot because of this very reason.
