Raspy Sound with Stock Exhaust???

Figured it out!! I put the car up on stands last night and found the "center muffler" or resonator missing. It was replaced by a straight pipe welded into the midpipe.

I gotta fix it asap, i can't stand the sound. I feel like I'm driving a 92 Civic. WHy would anyone do this to their car????

there's a midpipe in the marketplace for $60.

if so, they probably removed the resonator (mid-pipe). sounds like **** withoutit, unless you're deaf.
