Does anyone have rust on the lower door corner on 03 their coupe (pic inside)?? Is there a TSB/Recall by Infiniti to fix this? A car I am looking at has some bubbling on the paint in the area circled in red:

 

Don't Look at that car then?. No TSB that I know of. Most likely the owner did not keep the car clean & waxed very well.

 

That is the strange thing...
...the car besides that seems to be in excellent condition. No other scratches, the interior is in absolutely mint condition, all service records, decently low mileage for its age (48000 miles), and the original owner.

 

Open the door and look on the back side... see whats going on there?

That lower molding finisher comes off very easly too...

Tell them you want to see whats going on there before you consider a purchase and have a look

 

Look for Bondo use or some other indications of previously repaired body damage ......? (just a thought)

 

Hey Phil, not coupe, but sedans, a couple guys have had their doors replaced under warrantee. You know Roy (Nisman) he is looking at that right now.
Another friend had 3 doors replaced on his 03 Sedan under warrantee here in Ontario in the last year.
