Regarding change for 05' G Coupe

I have read many posts about interior change for 05' G. I myself was going to get one Coupe last december but then my director got fired due to the company internal political favor, so I got fired too... which means, no money for the G

However, I am getting a new job and G-purchase plan may be realized before summer.

Above was my story, now get to the point. For the people that hesitate to get 04' Coupe due to a possible interior change in 05', I think Infiniti might not do a good job on interior upgrade for the first time.

My friend who had a 03' sedan told me that his car has some flaws that was fixed for the late 03 and 04 model. One I could remember was that there was this car charger input on the front left side of the passenger seat, it wasn't there on the early 03's model. Which means, on the early 03 model, you can see a tiny sink that has nothign in it, basically a dust and dirt collector. My friend really complained that Nissan was using customers to do product testing and quality control.

For the 05 change, the same thing could happen again when Nissan fails to complete the interior upgrade, and leave some stupid empty space / hole for them to fill out on the later model.

I personally wouldn't wait to get the 05 model because the car has same performance, and 04's interior has been on the market for 2 years, so it is way more reliable.

There is only one reason that I would wait: If G Coupe has projector housing. I love every part of the G, except that the housing is reflexive. That is WEAK, period. And doing custom job is gonna cost a fortune.

They should really make the housing projector. I mean, who uses reflexive housing nowadays? Even Mazda 3 and Hyundai has projector housing!!!!

Oh wellz, for the people who recently purchased 04' model, I hope this post makes you feel a little bit better ^^
