umm...the STI will eat the g35 alive. But lets remeber, the WRX is built from the ground up for low-speed acceleration.....good for rallying. Notice the gear ratios are REALLY close? that AWD evenly distributes power during acceleration. These two things help it get such quick acceleration times. As for the twisties.....well, thats another story. The WRX is using the impreza platform, which isn't as advanced as our new FM platform, so there would be a battle there. Also, the g35 will have a better top end. 6 cogs versus 5. better areodynamics.

Thats only covering the preformance aspect. Dont even go into luxury because the g35 is a magnum load. These two cars are in totaly different classes. One is luxury touring coupe while the other a anfordable in-house preformance car. Why even compare?

 

Yep, it is a matter of what you want. Luxury/sport or Econ/sport. But the STi is coming with 6 speeds.
