2006 6MT coupe vs 2003 5AT coupe

No, it's not a street race thread.

The short version of this story is that I'm currently in possession of two G35 coupes. The newer coupe is a 2006 6MT with nav and rear active steer, purchased for about $30K out the door used. I'll be slowly moving the mods from the white (2003) one to the blue (2006) one.

The 5AT is a smoother ride. Acceleration seems to be the same, but I have a few bolt ons on the 5AT. It dynoed 277 at a local dynapack where stock Rev ups are just under 270. It also has less creaking when going over bumps, but I suspect that my GT spec mid chassis brace has helped this.

The 2006 interior is much better, but it still suffers from the driver's seat tending to get worn out.

I already moved my headlights over to the new one.

So hows the drive on the turns compared with the non-RAS and the car equipped with RAS? Can you feel the difference in the corners?

Sounds like he's swapping parts, and will sell the old one once complete.

Just to clarify, I own both cars, but I'll sell the 03 at some point.

The 06 has 20K miles, so it still has plenty of warranty left. I carfaxed it before purchase, at least from what I can find, looks to be a clean title.

I can't tell any difference with the RAS at this point. My 03 has Pilot Sport 2's on the front 245/40/18 and Pilot Sports on the rear 265/40/18, and it handles quite well.

He has projectors in the fog lights. Look closely at the last pic and you will see the round projector in the bottom.

Do you have any night time pics with the headlights? Possibly looking out the window from inside the car, and from head on?
