Underbody Aerodynamic Fairings

Just a quick question.. I got a G35Coupe 5AT, with Performance package. I found that the M6 (the 6 sp manual) has what my dealer call the Underbody Aerodynamic Fairings . I was wondering if that is same as the Aero package? I then went to the my dealer and ask for that part to add it to my car. They say there's no such thing after searching the record for a while. So I was gonna ask them what the he*l are they refering to as the Underbody Aerodynamic Fairings in their print-out.

Could someone kindly tell me what's the aero package includes and possible a diagram or the floor fitting of the G35 indicating which part is the aero kit.

I got a floor fitting diagram of the v35 from my dealer, I can upload it if needed.

Re: Underbody Aerodynamic Fairings

It's the underbody diffusers that come with the aero package. If your dealer doesn't carry them, Grubbs does. I bought just the diffusers from them. It's just 4 small pieces that you bolt onto the back/underneath your car.

Re: Underbody Aerodynamic Fairings

Those should just be a simple bolt on to a non-equipped car. We've already replaced some on a car where they were torn off and it was a very simple replacement.

Re: Underbody Aerodynamic Fairings

does it make a difference in sound level? What I mean is dose it cut down on some of the wind or road noise I can hear from the trunk or back seat area.

Re: Underbody Aerodynamic Fairings

I think Justin would agree that mounting these underbody pieces would have minimal effect one aerodynamics and even less an effect on noise.
When I mounted mine, I didn't notice any changes whatsoever in anything. I did it to complete the underbody of the car.
