I've read all the threads I could find on painting the OEM grill but I wanted to know what finish of black paint you guys used.

Flat black
Semi gloss

Sarona...Think i'm the only sedan on here with the kit.
I'd do a coat of clear over whatever you use....mine has a few chips from winter driving even though I did 5+ coats of paint and primered before painting

I used semi gloss black on mine. sanded it down with a 200 grit sand paper, just go light handed on sanding as you dont want to see the sand marks in the finished product. Just a light scuffing will be good. wipe it down to get all the dust off, primer it and paint it. I say no clear, i mean its so easy to do if it get too chipped up in 6 months just pull it out and do it again. Good luck.
