Anyone know if there is a way to modify the transmission status instrument cluster display so that instead of just "P", "R", "D", etc. that in "D" it actually shows what gear you're in with a "1", "2", "3", etc. ?

True, when an automatic transmission is in "manual" mode then then the instrument cluster will display the current gear you're in. The auto shifts so smooth, you barely feel it as your upshifting and you don't feel it at all when it down & upshifts when you're driving in the city having to vary speeds from 30 - 50 mph.
