Skylines are still in production and will continue to do so. The Skyline GT-R has pretty much ended with the R34 Skyline GT-R. The new GT-R is NOT a Skyline, they gave the GT-R it's own platform, so it's technical a total new car, not a tuned version of another. On Nissan Japan's site, the new GT-R is referred to simply as the GT-R.

The G should be considered a G and not a Skyline. G39? I doubt it. How about improving the 3.7 motor instead of going bigger. Bigger doesn't always mean better. a 4.0 motor does not belong in a coupe. We already get crappy mileage.
