An associate of mine wants out of his new cloth 03 Coupe, and it looks like it's mine for 25 Grand. I don't care for options, I just look for deals. Anyone think I could do better?

I just missed an 03 Nav Coupe 5AT for 29,000, so that's what I would've swung for. My base is silver. It's 6 months old with a few thousand miles.

go for it.. you could always get a katzkin leather kit.. They're two-toned and not that expensive.

Best of both worlds

Yeah, I figure a premium coupe with leather and a sunroof would add 1500 come tradein time in comparison to a cloth base. Those options on a used coupe would cost way more NOW.

Leather= 750
Sunroof=?
Bose=100
NAV=?(guessing 1000 plus)

I plan on owning the car for a while, so the cloth undesirability won't affect me as I won't be trading it in soon; the wear issues you all gripe about might work in my favor.

Moe, I ordered a BS cloth coupe 8 weeks ago and expect delivery first week in April. After reading in the forums of complaints with leather, bose, sunroof noise, auto dim mirrors, auto headlights, 18" tire cost and noise; I opted for the base cloth. I drove a cloth model and found the seats nice looking and more comfortable than the leather. Granted the leather looks more luxurious but the idea of spending $2300 more for leather just because it looks better didn't make sense.

The base model will be great with the addition of some of the stereo upgrades the guys have mentioned on the forums.

I am paying $29080 out the door. My lease through one of the on-line companies will put me under $300 a month for 39 months. The good residuals really help.

This is a pretty great car for under $300 a month. Depending on financing differences between new and used and how close the car is to what you actually want the price you mentioned sounds OK. A couple thousand for being used and another couple grand for being a year old would make the value around $25000.

If you would consider a lease you should check out your options on-line. You might find you could get a brand new G-35 in your exact spec for less per month than the used car.
