Fuel Cap Door Locked
Fuel Cap Door Locked
I was at the gas station trying to pump gas (1/4 tank left), and I could not unlock the fuel cap door. I tried using the key fob to unlock all doors, and used the power lock/unlock botton on the door, and I cannot get the fuel door to open!
I searched the forum, and found that it could be a bad fuse, or solenoid. Is there anybody else that had this problem recently? I want to avoid paying the dealer $200 if possible.

Matt
i have the EXACT issue and it happend right after a car wash. is this something i can fix myself? can i go in thru the trunk to access the gas tank manually? let me know- thanks
Dealership had to go in thru the trunck and repalce a bad locking mechanism. i did get it covered under warranty, but still had to pay a deductible and for the rental (2008 push start G35 4 door ) was a nice treat
Thanks for your comments-
