I went to the dealership yesterday to take care of some business. When I was there they had a G in the showroom that the parts manager had put together. It was SWEET! He put in the Z-tube/Pop Charger, Borla exhaust, nismo shift ****, 19" wheels, 35% tint all around, front lip spoiler, etc. I just thought that was pretty cool that you could actually buy a car like that at the dealership. I asked about warranty issues as I just installed the borla exhaust myself, and they said I would have nothing to worry about. =)

That sounds like the one over at Roswell Infiniti. The parts manager calls me with updates on what they are doing.

They got 12 hp and I think 9 ft/lbs from the Z-tube, JW pop-charger and Stillen exhaust.

Some things they are planning for the future are:
Jim Wolf ECU chip upgrade
Crawford Plenum
and a super charger

I don't think it was the one that G35Maniac saw. This one had factory rims. And they just sold it.

And yes, only 12 hp., it was an automatic.
5 and 6MT are getting 20+ hp(I think), with the same upgrades. Since they are about to do the same upgrades to a 6MT, I'll know for sure soon.

Just another reason not to get an AT.(not trying to start a war)

I'd like to know how the different transmissions performed. I wonder if 5600RPMs in an auto = 5600 RPMs in a manual.

 

I dont mean to doubt you but I dont see how the same mod could offer a different HP gain based on the transmission....its not logical...the popcharger & tube alone offer about 7-8rwhp on both autos and 6mts...the exhuast would add the remaining 4 or 5 on both...

But the 12HP is at the wheels, no?? thats a very good amount for just intake and exhaust mods...it means ur pullin ~295 at the crank

If thats RWHP thats about right and or better than right...if its crank they need to check all their installs.

but to answer ur question that i didnt notice the first time....
NO, 5600RPM in 5th of the 6MT is different that 5600RPM in 5th of a 5AT...not because manual vs auto...but because of 5gears vs 6gears....redline in 6th on the 6MT vs redline in 5th of the 5AT should be the same though, 156mph!!!
but the HP and torque is the exact same and will be as long as u keep the mods the same on both...
