I have had the same problem since day one. After about 30-40 miles of highway driving the tire pressure light turns on. It happened with my stock 17s and it still happens with OEM 19s. I always forget to mention this to the dealer.

the exclaimation point light will come on after 30-45 miles of driving since you do not have the TPMS installed or if they are not sync'd with your car's computer....it doesn't require a science lesson....it just requires that you read the info in these posts correctly.

If your rims have the TPMSensors installed in them and the "!" light comes on after 30-45 miles of driving, then get the dealer to check that the sensors are working and sending a signal as well as making sure that the signal is being read by the computer.

If you have replaced the factory rims with aftermarket and the "1" light comes on after 30-45 miles of driving, then chances are that you do not have the TPMSensors installed in them, since most of the rims we like are too low of profile to accomodate the sensor when it is used as a valve stem. You would have had to had them installed either with a bracket attached to a regular valve stem or strapped around the inner circumference of the rims.

Black tape can fix this problem (or at least cover up the symptoms).

I have the same problem. This happens with my original OEM 19's though, so I am assuming it is due to the tires heating up and the air expanding. I did put aftermarket tires on the rims, but as far as I know, that should not affect sensors.
