ok... i have recently decided that i want to keep my g35 coupe. i leased it in january of 03' thinking i would keep it for a while and then trade up to a GTR. but seeing how carl ghosn is screwing around the the GTR's debut was pushed back again, i now just want to buy my G out. I havent dealt much with leasing agreements so i would gladly appreciate if someone could give me a lil advice on what to do as far as getting out of this lease and buying my g. Is it not smart to do that? Do i have to pay my way out, or is there a way to transfer? And if this is a stupid idea, does anyone know a way to buy more mileage, if possible? thanks

When you buy, or if you buy the car you'll have too pay the sales tax all over again. Also, the leasing company may charge penalties for early lease termination. My advice is too talk too the sales manager at the dealership you bought the car, since they can probably advise you best. Check out the leasing tips mentioned in the earlier post. I wouldn't deal with the dealership, I would call your lease company directly and ask what it would take to buy out of the lease.
If you plan on keeping the car for a while, I would buy out of the lease. Keep in mind to buy out of the lease, you can get a loan from anyone, not just the company your lease is with.
