New Here.
Greeting ladies and Gentlemen.
I am here doing some researching on the mighty beast named g35 and g35ex.
Trying to decide what option I want, and learn things that I, surely, do not know.
Currently I am a driver of Scion tC.. and am looking to get rid of the thing asap...and get something much ballsier(hence the G research).

Thats my current beastie.
Looking for input from the experienced ones here on certain points:
1) Stock Navigation...
How good is it?
How updated is it and how user friendly is it?
Does it have to be overriden to adjust destination points on the fly?
2) Handling
How does the couple handle in the winter?
How about snowy winter (i am in IL).
how does it handle on the wet roads?
3) Modding.
At first I was looking for a car that I will NOT want to mod once I got it...
Seeing some of the cars around here.. well, I changed my mind (i am afraid).
How expensive are the aftermarket parts?
Say, average price for the I/H/E?
will be back with more questions..

-I/H/E = 2-3k dependind on what u get, mods are expensive but addicting so now i starve myself to get the next mod.. very satisfying after u take a whole day to install the springs tho
a BLAST to drive.
-I wouldn't gas it on snowy/icy roads ( rwd+bad road=bad stuff...or good stuff in parking lots
)
-Navi is good.. i use it only when i have no idea where a place is. And the car has to be at a full stop in order for you to set up a destination unless u have it saved in ur adress book then u can do it whenever.

okies.
I am considering keeping my Z1 navigation, and just put it instead of the stock head unit. hence the navi question.
How is the stock sound system?
And, mainly, how reliable are the Auto trannys?
I've been having a sour luck with autos so far, but too lazy to switch - my work to house drive is = 15 miles of stop and go traffic, and 10 miles of freeway..

I LOVE my stock nav. I do a lot of driving and it's been dead on for me. I drive auto because I do a TON of stop and go driving in Chicago traffic and I too am lazy
. In the summer I drive it in auto manual mode and I have a ton of fun with it so that's all I care about.
