Performance difference after break in period??

I just reached 1200 miles and I swear that the car feels more responsive. I babied it through the first month but I'm starting to think that there really is something to this break in stuff. Did any of you notice the increased feeling of performance after the break in period or am I just another excited driver???

I broke mine in easily too, and yes I noticed a considerable difference in performance after break-in. The engine really loosened up yielding more responsiveness and better mileage.

Tip: If you babied the G during break in period, get the ECU reset for faster performance once the ECU gets programmed to your "post-break-in" driving.

Don't worry about going hard after 1,000miles. I know a guy who beat up on a Ferrari the second after it was delivered. Its all in theory IMO. Though I did follow it

I didn't follow break-in guidelines but have the same experience.

I'm at about 5900 miles now, and the car just keeps on getting better and better. Even though the manufacturer recommends break-in mileage at 1200, i think it takes a little longer for the car to actually come alive, as is the case with mine.
