somethings rattleing inside... and i thought it was just a tube?

whats inside of a resonated test pipe?

something called a resonator

 

its a panel of metal that fits into the pipes and has a bunch of holes in it, this baffles the sound. Theres different types and variations. You mostly have rasp, also check your flex joints...thats the most overlooked part of an exhaust...actually a joint that doesnt last the life of the car. They rattled on my car and I have them removed on my greddy because my test pipes are the only ones on the market with flex joints.

 

could something inside the test pipe become lose and rattle? or is it like a unbreakable piece

 

i thought it was my tp's rattling when i had this issue, but it is my clutch, GONE 7 days later...
