should the driver seat be higher than the passenger seat?

I took my 05 coupe to the dealer today to get the seat cushion replaced. When I got the car back I noticed the following things:

- I drive with the driver seat as low as possible on both tilt settings. After adjusting the seat all the way down on both settings, I noticed the seat still seemed a bit high. I looked at the passenger seat and it is noticably a bit higher.

Do you guys know if the driver seat (at the lowest setting) should be higher than the passenger seat (height not adjustable)?

In addition the dumbasses forgot to tighten the bolt which secures the seat belt retainer. THe thing was really loose, and and flopping around everywhere like a grandpa w/o viagra. The stealership cant even get a high liability item like a seat belt installation correct, it really makes you wonder.

YOur feedback appreciated.

OMG...LMAO!!!

Anyways, I have an 05 Coupe and my driver's seat is higher than the passenger...even at the lowest setting. But the height is only minimal Perhaps yours appear much higher because of the new seat cushion replacement as it needs to be used more to deflat down

Somewhere on here there's a modification to lower the driver's seat - some of the taller members have done this.

And that grandpa comment gave me an awful mental image... thanks for that

My drivers seat is considerably higher then my passenger seat. I was wondering if that was normal so now I know.

I have a plan for you...

step 1: CONSUME AN UNGODLY AMOUNT OF WHITE BREAD

step 2: DO NOT WORK OUT

step 3: Now your driver side will even out with your passenger side

I think Infiniti did that cause its designed for more comfort for the passenger. Same for the sedans.
