VANDALISM HERO

I got 2 stories to tell...

1. I went to my car last week after having it covered in a lot for a week because of bad weather to find that my cover was pulled off the G and thrown aside in a corner of the lot. I checked the G every night during that week and all was good. It happened on the day that the weather was good enough for me to finally bring the G out. I dont know who did it but when I find out, they're gonna feel the wrath of my aluminum bat to their kneecaps. The good word is they didnt touch the G.

2. My friend works at Home Depot. A month ago while he was in his car warming it up to go home, he spied 2 guys roaming the parking lot at Home Depot. They were looking into cars and breaking windows. My friend wrote down their license plate number and called 911. The guys were arrested.

My friend also told me Home Depot parking lots are the worst lots to bring a new car into because people move all kinds of insutrial home building stuff around the lot and those things hurt cars.

Re: VANDALISM HERO

Is it possible that the wind could have blown the cover off your car?

I find all parking lots a source of damage to your car, but I suppose one with a lot of building materials being moved could be worse. I generally park so far away from the building entrance that it wouldn't be a factor anyway.

Before I had a nice, custom made cover with tie towns made, I thought someone was trying to jack my other car cover. I later realized the wind was blowing it off and quite far down the street to top that off.

Same thing with me, the wind was blowing my cover off, so I had to secure it with underties. I was going to get the culprit, but I couldn't find the guts to fight with the wind.

I agree with the wind theory. I started locking mine, not so much as a theft deterrant but so I wouldn't lose my cover completely.
