I've noticed some coupes have the graphite (gray) trim while some have the titanium silver trim. What do these different trim colors distinguish on these G35s?

 

If you mean the interior color, graphite means BLACK, and stone means GREY.

If you mean the dashboard color, it only comes in 2 colors...Black/silverish, or tan/brownish

 

I'm talking about the interior trim around the stereo. Some are dark gray and some are silver colored.

The silver trim is the newer improved interior of the 2005-2007 coupes.

The darker greyish is the 2003-2004 coupes.

 

Premium package on the 03-04 has the titanium finish on the console and door pulls. The standard optioned cars had the graphite color......

 

It's not "GREY" it's Titanium SILVER.

2003-2004 Coupes came with the following trim (some only available in Japan:
1.) BLACK
2.) WILLOW
3.) TITANIUM SILVER
4.) WOOD GRAIN (two types - Light/Dark) *I can't recall what names of woods they utilize in JPN

2005-2007 have a CHROME look finish. Here is an example of that:


I can't find the BLACK trim, but it doesn't take much to image what that looks like. HA!

^^ is basically right.

03-04 has silver painted plastic
05-07 has real brushed/satin aluminum

IIRC there were black ones on 03-04 models without the sport or premium package. Something like that, so pretty rare.

 

really can't go wrong they all look ilgood in my opinion
