I bought a Red grounding kit from the user BlueG35C on this forum.... I thought i could trust people and I payed 60$ for it. i bought it from him over paypal on the 15th almost two weeks ago and I didn't receive the grounding kit, he wont answer my PM's or anything either. I am probably out of this money now and im SOSOSOSO pissed... I just saw he registered on the 15th also, could that be a sign that he took this money and ran? What should I do, suggestions? if you payed over paypal, u should be able to get him. if he had a confirmed account, then paypal should have his creditcard info.

 

iLLG35, I'm not sure if anything can be done, but I p/m'd him myself for you to see what the problem is. It may be a misunderstanding and I asked for an explanantion.
If I hear anything, I'll let you know.

I'm not saying that he skipped out of paying, let's see what transpires here, but make sure you know who you're dealing with and that they are well established and have a good rep. Ask around to see who's dealt with him/her, and, if they're new members with no history, insist on receiving merchandise b4 payment, since your rep is more established.
Lastly, if the transaction was guaranteed or payed thru your credit card, contact the CC company. They will pursue it for you.

Wait for a reply from BlueG35C at least for a little while and see if this resolves itself b4 doing anything further. He may have been away on business or just forgot.
As I said, it I hear anything, I'll let you know.

I believe Pay Pal gives you up to 3 months to make a claim...or maybe a month...can't remember. Check how big your claim window is, give him sometime to get back to you.

Paypal provides a buyer protection program (upto $500) & a claim process (this costs $25 I think...). check the paypal website if you qualify for one of this. There are some limitations... please check the website.

You can file a claim only within 30 days of the transaction. So you seem to have some more time.

Hey Gsedanman, you know what's still a little weird, I keep pm'n him not even for the gorunding kit but just to see what was up with him and his car and stuff and when he thinks he'll get the grounding kit out.
