Front Strut Tower Bolts

Do the bolts on the front strut towers need to be torqued?

if they had a torque rating then they would require torquing, right?

Pretty well every bolt on the car has torque specifications in the manual. If you want to make sure you tighten the bolts properly, use a torque wrench - otherwise, take the risk of loosing the bolt (if you put it on too loose) or breaking the bolt (if you tighten it too much). You can't go wrong by torquing!

the manual you are referring to is the service/repair manual i can get on ebay or something similar right? Just a G35 coupe shop manual for 03-06.

damn it, i bid on the same thing on ebay for 99 cents and 5 dollar shipping LOL. if only you would have responded sooner haha... thanks though, i appreciate the responses.

so on the torque table basically any 12MM is torqued at 33? Same goes for any other diameter nut/bolt on that table? It's just standardized for all the bolts on the car I assume. I can't find the section for the front strut yet to see if they specifically say anything about those bolts.

there's a whole section for the front suspension. it'll say something like "for torque specs see this.." and you can click it and it will show a whole diagram of the front suspension with every component broken down for you. i just spent the weekend looking at this haha
