Can someone please post a pic of your coupe with the Xenons ... trying to tell what colour they appear ... and see if upgrading to 6000Ks will be worth it!!

Here are a couple of pictures of my new coupe on a cloudy day. The headlights look bluer in person than they appear in the pictures.

yeah they look pretty blue in person, i went to my dealership and turned on the lights and went and stood infront of the car, they are a very nice blue color, i would think the color temp stock is around 4700K (which is pretty blue at night)

these xenons dont change color dude, they are simple deflector beams, they are blue at night and white during the day
The blue is not <font color=blue>THIS blue</font color=blue> but they are much bluer than lets say...the fog lights or those fake-xenons on the market
BMW's are more purple, they use refractor beams, and so does audi, but audi's are less purple and more blue
AHH WHO CARES THEY ARE JUST HEADLIGHTS SO THAT YOU CAN SEE THE ROAD AT NIGHT [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img]

They do sort of change color a bit during the initial 30-second warm up. The manual even mentions it.

I am thinking of changing the Xenon to 6000K, gives it a more bluish look

 

at start up they are really blue. but once they warm up, they become a bright white. hth.......

They just take a few seconds to warm up to operating temperature, kinda like streetlights or warehouse lights, but not nearly as long.
