my g wont start

i have an 05 g 6mt that wont start its not even turning over any opinions???

did you try jumping it? If its not even turning over then the battery is shot.

Possibly your alternator if your battery has absolutely no charge left (try checking for drains on the battery)

One time my radio and lights worked but my car wouldnt start but it was still the battery. Had enough juice for radio but not to start the car.

The car needs something like 13 volts to start but the lights and radio will go on with much less. If it starts when you jump it, the battery is probably the problem, but what caused the death of the battery could be the real problem. I would think an 05 battery would last longer than 3 years, but you could have a dud. Let's just hope it ends there...

ha it was the battery ahh i was so scared it was something else cuz i never had the battery drain so bad that it wouldent even try to turn over the engine but thanks guys for your opinions

12 is the magic number. U need 12 volts for pretty much anything electrical in the car

how long was it sitting before you tried to start it? did you leave a light on or something?
