alrite thanks for your input! i appreciate it! i'm still paranoid that i f*cked up something on my car when i misshifted from 3rd to 2nd. the pin went way past redline into the black area. it was was so painful....

yes both numerous times, Ive driven a ford gt40 and a calliway corvette with 900+ horsepower (wheels has carbon covered lips!)
...worst race clutch ever. It was either on or off, slow speed was a b*tch.

Ive moved a ferrari enzo about 30 feet. full carbon fiber interior including dash and full carbon "tub" that the cockpit is made of, true work of art. Only silver enzo in the world.

I have about 70k on my '03, and I also idle at about 650...I don't think you should worry, or take it to the dealer.
