pisser! Looks bad but not near enough to total unless you have frame damage.

do you guys think i can push for a repaint of the WHOLE car not just certain panels, only thing that would be left unpainted would be doors and roof anyway but since the cars been parked outside for like 2 years i worry the paint will look different

Won't hurt to at least try especially since the other driver's insurance should be paying.

Damn that sucks. Looks like they will have to replace the quarter panels and do a lot of frame work. It looks like a TL but whatever the case is good luck.

That's not enough damage to total a 2005 (unless there something pretty bad underneath that we can't see).

alright heres an update guys, my insurance adjuster came over to get an estimate, she told me so far it was at $8000 and i laughed but this is before they are going to take it apart and see whats really damaged under the panels. I asked her about frame damage and if there was damage what would happen and she told me they would repair it, now im not an idiot and i know its really hard to fix frame damage and i would rather NOT deal with it, then i pointed out other dents and paint being flaked off my fenders and she said they would "blend" it, im really pi$$ed of because i know they have to repaint the entire panel not just a certain part and "blend" it, if it does indeed have frame damage whats the best way to go about handling this?

These cars are unibody, like about 99% of the other cars on the road. There is no frame. Trucks have frames.

Get the body shop to help convince the insurance company that it will be a better match and less expensive to paint the other body panels. You could also pay the difference out of pocket.

Damn that sucks, Ash. At least you're ok. And you just barely got those 06 headlights a few months back. Hope everything works out for you. Where was this at anyways?
