I'm really curious how people have gotten used to the visibility issue? I constanly turn my head to just see car interior and with the tiny rear view and side mirrors I'm constantly afraid I'll hit someone or something. I'm not a praying man so doing that before a lane change isn't an option

 

I found a position for my side mirrors that takes care of the blind spot I was experiencing but I have no way to put that into words; it just works... Try different angles and you will find the right spot for yourself. I remember when I first bought my G and ran some poor lady off the road before I figured this out.

You just get accustom to the spots after awhile and overcome them with the right mirror angles.

Our cars absolutely suck for rearward visibility. I had to drive for about 2 weeks with no drivers side mirror on my car when some ***** maliciously broke it off at a parking garage in Boston. Highway merges and lane changes are a real pain in the butt without them. Backing up down a long driveway or whatever is just generally a huge pain with this car too(with or without mirrors).

Haha this is what I did too. I hate when another person drives my car and plays around with the mirros -_-!

I did the same. It takes a bit to get used to driving with them in the new position, but you can remove most of the blind spot.
I had a few close calls when I first bought my baby G.
Never again.

Never had a problem. It is all about positioning. When you position it, you should not be able to see the side of your car from your position.

 

Yeah I've never had an issue. I think you just have to pay attn to what's going on in regards to traffic/surroundings then the mirrors are just backing up your observations.

my old accord and civic didn't even have a passenger side mirror...

i've never had one problem with the blind spots in the G, i donno i ALWAYS look over my shoulders before changing lanes, i rarely even use the side mirrors. Alot of people think its ok to just look in your rearview and sides and think its safe to change lanes when its not...

 

Properly adjusted sidemirrors and rearview will eliminate the need to ever turn your head to check.

^i dissagree, you don't know what others in other lanes are gonna do, you can look in your mirrors, it be all clear, start changing lanes just as someone the next lane over is changing into the same lane, you should always look to were you are about to go not JUST your mirrors
