maintenance number 2 from Dealer

hey Guys, Im in Canada and im now at the 25k mark on the car and loving it...WOOHOOO! Anyway, I just went to get a clicking clutch pedal fixed and I was wondering how much that should cost.

This is what they quoted me for this maintenance:

- change differential fluid
- change cabin filter
- change the oil
- tire rotation (I have winters on)
- brake service
- fluid top up (really hard to do) :-S

$650 for all this. Does this make sense? Anyone from Canada ever do this and pay this much? I'm not complaining...I know its a luxury performance car and hence the price tag for servicing it but still man, Im not made of money!!! Hehe.

Thanks for any help guys.

Depending on which part of Canada your in, you could just drive to the US where your dollar goes much farther due to ours being worth crap right now

If you have access to a reputable mechanic, it'll probably set you back a third that cost. Maybe $300 tops, using premium aftermarket fluids. Just called my dealer today and I'm going to go get my oil change soon ($50). The only reason I'l go to them is, I need oil consumption TSB done. After that, I'll be using Mobil I at home (it's roughly $25 including a filter).

Thanks guys for your opinions. Would anyone know if you do end up doing it yourself will they pull any BS excuses on you for any sort of warranty related issue? Like if you end up having an issue with the car later they might end up saying it wasnt serviced by infiniti and thus wont be warrantied?

Thanks

Steve
