I don't know how much your getting back from BMW, (should be everything in my opinion), but have you considered the Benz coupe?
It may be in the same range as your bimmer, and I'm sure it will be a great long haul cruiser.....
Now, if you had some extra cash and AMG55 would be very sweet!

The Mercedes are overpriced in my opinion. I went and looked at a C32 before I bought the M3. The C32 was a horrible disappointment to me. The interior was less than mediocre. The car had horrible traction. The audio was the same quality of a Ford F-150. A big engine is definitely not everything.

I ought get the price before tax 58,500, minus 35 cents per mile (23,500 miles). They have not confirmed the cents per mile.

It is great, but I would recommend either getting dynamat, or undercoating because the tires transmit alot of road noise.
