Need sum advice with parts to get

i was wondering what intake system to get for my G? does the plenum spacer work and easy to install? i want to lower my car and was wondering if i should buy just springs or coilovers? i was thinking of getting sum JIC coils or BC...i know there has been many debates about those two and i'm not looking to go krazee on my G...my G is gonna be rolling on sum oem 19's for now...till i can afford better...and my G is an 04 5amt...thanks in advance...

Plenum spacer do work...motordyne and skunk2 are some popular choices. Intakes are all over the place as far as which to get, none really do much other than alter the sound of the engine.

For intake I recommend stillen, or z-tube (either factory z-tube or stillen z-tube) with a drop in filter like K+N or Amsoil, etc.

Coilovers...couldn't tell you there but I can tell you I am absolutely DONE with Japanese suspensions companies. My personal recommendation would be H&R or KW. But it really depends on what you want out of a coilover system.

i don't want my ride to be too ruff...comfort is good...but handling is important too...that's why i asked about springs since the lowest i've seen is 1.5 inches...i may want to lower the car even more later...i just got a skunk2 spacer..just waiting for it to come in the mail...is it difficult to install?

relax... it just gets old with the same threads over and over and over again...
there is a search button at the top of the page...

Intake: there is no best intake because intakes are mostly for sound. very little hp/tq gains that arent even noticable... you have short ram intakes which most like because some say cold air intakes lose power...
short ram: stillen high flow airbox/z-tube and JWT pop charger/z-tube. people dont like the pop charger because it has a crappy heat sheild...

stillen/z-tube

pop charger/z-tube

^^^ crappy heat sheild

spacers: motordyne 5/16 spacer is very good and there have been no complates... now skunk2 people have had cracking issues with not liked very much

go coilovers all the way... Tein makes very good coilovers

I called the XO2 Exhaust, they have major rust problems with the tips.
Take a trip to the Intake & Exhaust sub-forum. There are many threads about it.
