g/l on the TL, don't think that means you can't hang out on 'Driver.

Yeah, I'd go with the G. TL isnt as great. There will always be more opportunities to buy cars in your area. Be patient. I was patient and i ended up with an 05' with 46k miles for 19500.

flawed logic

Sorry but I have to disagree with this logic - do you really think young drivers learn how to drive better if they start with FWD cars?!?! I think the opposite is true: if you learn how to handle a RWD car, you're already more competent than most, *especially* if you aspire to own a RWD car.

How many of your parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents learned to drive in a FWD car? Almost none, and I'll bet the *VAST* majority of them haven't died in some horrific accident that was caused by them not having a FWD car as their first car.

Besides, you're just setting this kid up for a fall, he's gonna learn the driving dynamics of a TL for a year or two, then he'll finally trade up to a G. He'll turn off the VDC punch it around a corner confident in himself since he's done it so many times in his TL, and he's going to lose control and wrap it around a tree! Happy with yourself? You've just killed one of our youngest members because you think FWD cars are the way to learn good driving skills.

Seriously though, just get the G.

45000 kilometers is the same as 27,000 miles so the price sounds about right, what year is your G?

damn I feel poor... my first car was a 84 plymoth horizon, then a 94 geo metro (couldn't beat 100 bucks for a car) and then a 93 pontiac sunbird and then a 06 cobalt and now my 05 g35. I mean I never could of owned a g35 in highschool. But as far as the wrong wheel drive, it might be better for him till he gets more experience under his belt.

so my uncle just told me a camaro z28 would be better than a g35.wow.
and went on to say I should get an accord instead of a tl. I dont want a honda(yes, Ik acura is made by Honda).

I'm still pretty confused on my decision. people have been telling me to get a Benz c class, but its so much less powerful and ive heard about a lot of electrical problems.

So confused. want a nice, powerful, and safe car. am I looking in the right direction?? any suggestions? (o, and my sister has a bmw, so I dont that).

the Z28 is better than the G in only 1 way: it's faster in a straight line, the G wins in handling, luxury, features, reliability, resale value, etc... - get the G

Accord, Camry, Taurus, Mazda 6, Altima, Malibu, blah blah - all FWD basic transportation - get the G.

People are mostly stupid, don't listen to them. You're here because you're interested in buying an Infiniti G35. Go with your gut - get the G.

As being your first car...I would be worieed about the ability to fix all the "little to big" problems these cars have. Oil consumption, rattling, windows not rolling up etc. It takes a lot of maintenence on these cars to keep them in good health. Just my two cents.
