NOTHING IS RARE IN SOCAL
That's tight! that's a good defense against the scary "hit, scrape and run" that every1 dreads. I would do that too if there are Gs. What I usually do (when i had my license) is park next to other cars that are nice expensive, or park way far away from other cars.

I heard the same from my dealership and had to wait awhile for one, and I rarely see G's (around here) with Brembo's too. - I thought that was a nice 'bonus'.

Thanks Guys!

Everyone wants a 6MT, and it's rare for any used 6MT to stay on our lot more than a week.
Can you provide us with a more detailed description? What exactly should we look for while purchasing a 6mt? Any information would be greatly appreciated. It's definitely true because mostly enthusiasts will purchase the 6mt's.

What should we look for that's not so predictable?

I waited like 3 months for the dealerships around me to find the combo I wanted and after the wait I said screw it and just order what I wanted and had to wait another 2 months. Well worth the wait though!!

When I was looking to get my 6MT in 2003/2004 (what true enthusiast would drive an auto?) I only found 1 used silver one online in the US and it had a tan interior ... yuck. The dealership laughed at me when I asked if they had any used 6MTs. I ended up getting what I wanted at the dealership ... 2004 6MT, brilliant silver with graphite interior, brembos, and no aero package. I like the no spoiler look. I ended up with the premium package, which I was leaning away from because I knew I would replace the BOSE stereo eventually. I'm just glad I didn't have to fork out the extra for the nav option. I'm sorry but factory nav's are ridiculously overpriced.

cars.com has much better prices in my experince. I typically find a similar one on autotrader.com for 3-5k more.

Search a huge radius, and find the perfect one and see if you can get it shipped to you.

And inaccurate half the time. I live in a city that's still building, so it doesn't even know like 30% of the roads I go on LOL!

The Nav is not innacurate if you have an updated disk. I've never had my nav misdirect me, even prior to getting my update disk... and when driving through Boston. Boston is massively under construction because of the Big Dig, so there are a lot of missing and changed exits. The Nav will still get you to where you need to go because it auto-recalculates the route if you miss a turn.

The Nav is definitely an overpriced option though. The only reason I got mine was because it was on the car that I wanted on the lot of the dealership, and I was able to talk them down in price enough that the Nav was basically eliminated from the price of the car. It does add a lot to the embiance of the cars interior though, and chicks love it.

When I bought my 6MT there was no negotiation on price. I tried and the salesman laughed and said he can't keep them on the lot for full price. I think I got $500 knocked off the price and that was it. The Nav option was like 3-4k wasn't it?

It'll eventually get to the place I want to go. But it takes a heck of a long time since it takes the longer way once it finds its way back, coming from a road the navi finally realizes where it is.

I flew from Texas to NJ to get my 03 6mt navi DG with black interior coupe. It also only had 12k miles when I picked it up a month ago. 16k now.
