Squeaking is getting so F@#$#$ annoying..plz help.
About a month ago, i started hearing squeaking noises coming from under the car, but it wasn't loud, so it didn't really bother me
but in the last week, the squeaking has gotten unbearable, the more i drive the car, the louder it gets...as in if i go for long drive, the squeaking gets louder n louder, the further i drive.
the squeak sounds like some metal parts are rubbing together.
I hate the f#$#$)*$#* NOISE...I HATE IT..
Alright let me give you some background info about the my car
i have had this car for about a yr now
i have gotten into one big accident, which happened about 3 months ago, I hydroplaned on the Merritt Parkway and did a 360 and ramped on to guard rail.. the door, the front bumper, hood, the headlight, the side panel and few other things had to be replaced...i think they replaced the suspension too
I also live in Boston, the roads in Boston suck, wayyyyy too many pot holes, so i do bottom out a lot..
i did get it checked by the local dealer few days ago, they don't really know where the squeaking if coming from, they seem clueless....
So i am kinda helpless right now,
my guess could be way off.but i think its . Either the suspension is loose, or the some part under my car is hanging...
i just want to get rid of this annoying noise,
any suggestions would be really appreciated.
Thanks

Does your car squeak even on smooth roads or is it just on rough roads that it squeaks (when the suspension being used heavily)?

Obviously I can't figure out what's going on without looking at your car, but based on what you've said, if I were a bettin' man, I'd say that your problem is in one of the the control arms or in the bushing at the end of it. Control arms are notoriously likely to be bent in a wreck/ collision, or the bushing on the end gets cracked. And that would cause squeaking that varied in intensity depending on how bumpy the road is, like you've said.
If that's the case, then you should replace/ fix it before it damages your shocks or other suspension parts. Tell the same people who fixed it the first time that it wasn't done right and see what they can do for you.
I had a Dodge Stealth back in 1998 and I got rear-ended by a streetcar. After that the car was never the same, I had squeaks, leaks and one headache after another. Finally I sold it and said good riddance.
How's that for cheering you up?? ;-)

hey. i have the same EXACT situation as you.. however, i wasn't involved in a major accident. I have a set of eibach springs on my car.. been around a year and the squeeks started to surface around a couple of weeks ago. the squeeks start when i launch medium to hard.. causing some rear end to compress... i think my fronts may squeel as well.. who knows.
i think some of the bushings are dry from lots of road dust.. so i am going to go down on my car and spray the living bushing-craps out of with my trusty wd40.
i'll see how much it will fix.. if not then i'll try some lithium grease. say... does energy have any urethane bushings for our car? just a random thought......
