siiiing: I just called the place and they said $180 for the titanium tint. Are you really pleased with the job they did on yours? Did you have any problems/concerns at all? I was thinking of getting 35%. I do not want it too dark and I know the legal is 30% or higher.

I have no complaints at all. I wouldn't be recommending them if I did. As for the the darkness level, I drive around the city, around the subburbs, and out of state and still haven't been bothered by any type of authorities. I see people driving around all day long with 5% limo tint all around and still nothing happens to them. A friend of mines has been doing that for 5 years or so now and I'm still amazed at how nothing ever happens. Heh, hope I didnt jinx him. knock on wood.

I recommend 35% LLumar ATR Charcoal (lifetime warranty). Looks great, protects interior, and doesn't attract police attention. I paid $200. As to dots, I just had them tint over them. Very small bubbles I can live with. The tacky vinyl strip or no tint I can not.

 

MIZZOUTIGER: I hear ya, although I do like the titanium tint and if they can do it over the dot matrix in one sweep, then I would rather have that. I am very picky and **** and can pick up slight things even if no one else sees it or even just knowing that it is there, would bother me. Thank you.

Thanks siiiing. I think I am going to get the 35% just to be on the safe side. I def like the titanium and am going to call that place in a couple weeks to make an appointment. The said the brand of titanium tint was Johnson. I haven't heard of that name. How is it? Anyone?

I was told some top tints were VKool, Huper Optik, 3M, HP, Lumar and Madico Onyx.

SHADER7: Nice car. I love the G in black but I told myself I wouldn't get another black car again. It shows everything and being that I live in a city...I decided against it. I can't really tell in the pic, but the smaller window is darker than your front side window? What percentage is the rear window?

I have 35% on sides, 20% on back. LLumar brand. Paid $189+tax. When installed they said no worries on the window rolling up/down an inch.

When it comes to the rear's dot matrix on the coupe, it is highly subjective on the looks of having vinyl vs. just tint on the rear. I'll post pics of my coupe on a new thread.
