Well I just picked up my car today from Infiniti after having the new engine installed after I blew it up....When coming home today and driving around late this evening just to drive to drive because I missed my car...it seems as if I dont have a second gear or it is really sluggish in picking up speed through the RPM range...I just installed the JWT Pop charger and Z-tube on the car which shouldnt make a huge difference since I have gone back to stock....
The only thing I am curious is when I was FI had the GTM valvebody upgrade installed....which obviously increases the shift points at different RPM ranges...with that being said I am curious if this is causing an issue right now with my transmission since I dont have FI anymore....The other thing I am concerned about is when I had the car tuned with my TurboXS and uninstalled all of the parts would this have done anything to my OEM ECU?
I was thinking of doing an ECU Reset to re-learn everything but wanted to get some others thoughts really quick....also I still have my OEM VB sitting here in the garage...should I go ahead and put that back in since I am stock now...or would the GTM VB upgrade be just fine in my car being that it is stock? I am just curious...
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Could it be the GTM Valvebody operates on different pressures as a result of the FI? Maybe you just need to re-adjust the valvebody for the stock configurations.......
Maybe a ECU reset will help as well.
Keep us posted as to what you do to correct the problem

okay thanks for the thoughts..I am wondering how exactly I adjust the VB to stock configurations? I have my stock OEM VB in my garage that I could easily just put back in.....

If the dealer had your battery disconnected for more than 8 hours the ECU would reset automatically wouldn't it?

haha dont think so on going back to Forced Induction...I am consdering on putting back in the stock VB that came with the transmission....but then again I could get an ECU tune with what I have right now...i.e. intake, exhaust, etc....just for SH** and giggles and keep the VB upgrade and hope the tune fixes the problem....I really liked the VB upgrade with my Forced Induction but if it is going to act like this without forced Induction i will have to go back to the stock one....seems like there is not acceleration at all in the car.......

maybe you just got so used to the power of the FI that the car only FEELS sluggish now...
no it is def not right....when hitting second gear at wide open throttle it almost fills like that transmission is slipping...

I installed the Level Ten VB upgrade in my N/A car a year or two ago. There was never and conversation about whether the car was N/A or not, the upgraded VB was the same regardless.
It has performed very well and consistently since it was installed, definitely a nice upgrade. I appreciate that my source was different than yours; all I'm trying to say is that mine works quite well in an N/A car.

You are fine with the stock engine and upgraded VB in the trans. The VB can only help with the performance and longevity of your trans. It could be that you were used to the acceleration with the blower which is why your car now feels sluggish.
WEll I found out from the delaer what was occuring is that my transmission was trying to relearn itself with the power I have now from the FI power......They said it may take alittle bit.

VB wouldnt effect it.. valvebody reads throttle valve pressure (determining down shifts) and another pressure for speed of vehicle.
certain speed selects specific gear (pressure goes higher).. then when your throttle pressure exceeds the speed pressure you achieve a downshift =).. obviously your throttle pressure : speed pressure is set so you cant downshift into too low of a gear as well as upshift into too high of a gear..
