I took the plunge and ordered the Borla exhaust. I am concerned about interior noise/resonance . I had a 95 vette with a B&B Triflo exhaust and at 80mph the hum was horrible.
Any input would be appreciated!

 

Not to worry, there little to no resonance with this exhaust at all. B&B is notorious for resonance and their system for the G has it as well although not that bad.

good... I think I will dynamat the rear of the vehicle as well, that should take care of any "issues". I ended up having baffles made for the end pipes on my vette, riding in it at a cruise speed was like being in a 747!

 

The difference between Borla and stock is just enough to let you know there's something special under there. Soooothing.[img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

There's a little bit of interior drone on my Borla somewhere between 1600 and 2000 rpms. My solution: press the pedal on the right.

Dont laugh, but I had a borla exhaust on my old PT Cruiser that would drone like crazy at highway speeds. They gave me some venturi looking things that were welded inside the pipe that helped. Probably killed any performance gains when those were added. Thats kinda why Im a little weary of getting one for my g. Its very quiet on the highway. My dad got a B&B for our 97 vette with no drone.
