Ok..maybe you flunked Mustang 101.

There were no 02 Cobras. There have been only 3 R models. The 93, 95, and 00.

03/04 Cobras do have the SCer and make 390 hp (a little underrated).

What you most likely raced (?) was a 99 or 01 Cobra or possibly a Saleen S281 which is nothing more than a glorified GT with a cold air intake and some fancy body cladding.

Yes I relized that I made that mistake of putting 02 Cobra in stead of 01.. It must have been a 99 Cobra without the recall which would give him about 240 RWHP and in 01 they were putting 280 RWHP. Now im not sure how you are in "Mustang 101" cause a GT will put 225 - 230 ish to the RW and a Cobra puts 280... Hummm 50 extra RWHP is a CAI.. I dont think sooo. Plus he probably had no cats and X pipe with nice big piping and free flowing exhaust. Now that has to bump him up a few pony's..

No doubt he had exhaust..it was loud right.

My GT put down 231 RWHP bone stock. A S281 with some bolt-ons could easily slap down 280 RWHP.

no telling what you ran...everybody modifies their Mustang and even go so far to make their GT's Cobra-clones and Saleen-clones.
