Re: Important: G35 Coupe Invoice Prices
I believe that invoice prices were supposed to increase about 1.4% or so due to Infiniti getting rid of the marketing fee. This change was supposed to take affect April 1st.

Re: Important: G35 Coupe Invoice Prices
I would assume that the marketing fee would go away in the VPP calculation on Infiniti vehicles.
Last year, Nissan did the same thing for Nissan vehicles. I'd have to go back and check my documentation to see exactly
what they did.

Yea. A friend of mine got a vpp quote from grubbs with the newly adjusted base prices. Then on top of the new prices, they attempted to charge him a marketing free.

Was it a true VPP program price quote? Or just Grubbs "VPP Pricing".

Re: Important: G35 Coupe Invoice Prices
It was a true vpp pricing. It listed the breakdown of all the different parts including the invoice, the discount, the delivery charge, destination charge, and marketing fee.
In this case, the invoice price had increased, and there was still an applied marketing fee. So even though Infiniti has started including this into the price to the dealer, the dealer is making people pay more on top of it. They should pass the price to the consumer, not the price + a little extra.
edmunds has updated their pricing to reflect the new invoice pricing. I just wish I truely knew why the price has changed.
