need help removing A/T shifter

hey guys i tried searching but cant find a diy for removing the automatic shift ****.....any help appreciated....thanks

Push down on the little plastic part that's under the ****. Then you should see a metal clip that just slides off for the most part. After you remove that then the **** should just come right off.

grab the silver peice right above the leather boot and pull it down.

pop the clip out, but dont lose it. it should slide right off.

How do you take off the manual ****? It doesn't seem like it will twist off.
