Helpp!!!

helpp... i installed an INJEN CAI 2 days ago,, today im driving around and suddenly my service engine soon light goes on,,, and the car i press full pedal and the car wont go over 3 to 4000 rpm,,, whats wrong_? can it be a misinstalled sensor or what_? then after 5 minutes the car started going around normal but the light remained on..

It normally triggers the service light but the part where the car wont go over 3-4k RPM is weird.

yeah i dunno it like failed to respond to the throttle although it only happened for 3 minutes...

get an OBDII code reader, it can clear it for you.

is the MAF sensor plugged in/correct? Any water in the intake?

sounds like MAF to me.

A CAI can cause issues for the MAF sensor. You went into safe mode cause the car didn't know what was going on.
