Flea Bay...I'm a believer that you get what you pay for. Cheap knock-offs never touch my G, but that's me.

There is nothing to these things. It is just a double ended pivoting bolt and a bracket. I cant see how a name brand one can be better.

Exactly! My stillen is better than the ebay one. Personally id just rather pay 50 more dollars and know its going to a good company.

I'd go with a brand name just to feel a little more secure about the quality of my purchase. Rumor has it that they are all made by the same few manufacturers and get badged for the appropriate company; Top Speed, Stillen, maybe even Ingals (but I think their design is a little different). I'm thinking of upgrading from my TopSpeed/Stillen to the Ingalls because I like the mounting point better.

My impression is that this thing actually kinda works. There is a noticeable decrease in engine movement at high RPMs (have your friend rev your engine before and after while you watch). I also seemed to notice past 4k RPM, when the engine really kicks in with variable timing etc, the whole engine just kinda straps in and cranks out some power, versus before the damper it felt like it produced more shaking and vibrations from the engine compartment at those RPM's/speeds.

Maybe I'm just imagining things lol. Worst comes to worse, it's cool dress-up.

I just bought one off ebay, since it's just a simple piston/shock setup. It made shifting much smoother on my 6MT. I wouldn't bother with 5AT installing one of these.

THE STILLEN IS THE EBAY ONE Ive held both in my hand, they are exactly the same. Stillen doesnt make them in-house and get them from the same people and call it theres. Honestly the stillen in a bitch to install and the plus side of it was so small. Upgrade you tires with the money you waste.

I have the stillen brace. I'm pretty sure that the ebay one is basically the same though. Either way however it's a great little mod. I definitely felt an increase in throttle response and can even see the reduction in side to side engine motion when someone revs the engine.
