Highest Numbers for NA setup, NO FI
#18
With only the mods you mentioned, you'll probably have about 255-265 WHP, considering that these cars put down around 230-240 WHP when stock with a 6MT. There is a zero percent chance that you will have 300 WHP without dumping a whole lot more money into more NA mods than you listed. You'd need at least lighter weight rims and tires(since this does affect WHP measurements by a measurable amount assuming you don't use a dynapack dyno), an aggressive set of aftermarket cams and a lightweight flywheel before you can even think about getting your WHP to go up by that much and within the vicinity of 300+ WHP on any dyno other than a dynapack.
Doing mods to get to a target WHP number is a pointless proposition anyways.... it's just a pointlessly rounded off bragging rights number. I would recommend just focusing on doing the mods that get you the most bang for the buck first and sync up well together(such as intake and exhaust combos), and then get the car tuned appropriately with those mods.... and let the WHP numbers fall wherever they may from that point.

The best way to do it is to build the engine, stroke it, cams, get it breathing good etc. But keep in mind the NA route will get just as expensive as the FI route if you want to do it right, and you may not see any more than 350WHP or so. I have talked to a few shops and to get to say 400WHP NA will take alot.

It means nothing as far as your car is concerned. Just do whatever mods you can afford that yield positive gains without affecting the cars drivability too much.
With the amount of effort you're putting forth in trying to get to 300 WHP exactly, it sounds like you're more concerned with your cars performance on paper than on the road/track.

I have read many threads where people are talking about "bang for the Buck". In all my research, where else can you get 30-50hp for $400. There is not another bolt on mod that gives you that much, whether you are FI or not. The purpose of my build is to waste nothing. As I progress towards FI (SC) all of my mods previous to that will compliment and support the FI upgrade at the end. I was just wondering if anyone had installed the water-meth kit on an N/A car, and what their results were.
