Baseline dyno

Took her in for her first dyno today. More than what I expected:

I also ordered the clear corners and Z tube today from everything G35. They should be here sometime next week. I'm taking her back to the dyno on the 24th so I should be able to see if the Z tube did anything for me or not.

Re: Baseline dyno

Horsepower seems very strong! What gear was used 5th? Curious to see what you gain with the 350Z tube. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Baseline dyno

I agree. That's a pretty solid number as your base line. Definitely keep up posted with the Z-tube numbers.

Re: Baseline dyno

The dyno run was done in 4th gear. I wonder why your torque is almost 14 more than mine? My car has just over 300 miles on it. I got it last week and it has already been dynoed and been to the dragstrip. I drive every car i've ever owned hard from the get-go and have never had any problems with any of them.

WOW, talk about service. I ordered that Z tube and clear corners yesterday morning from everything G35.com and they arrived about 10 minutes ago. I didn't pay for next day shipping either. That's what I call fast service. They are really friendly and knowledgeable people over there. He said he would ship them out yesterday and they came through and he talked to me on the phone for about 15 minutes just talking about the G35 coupe and what's available for it.
[EDIT] I forgot to mention, everythingG35.com also through in a free LEX paint sealant kit with my order[/EDIT]

Re: Baseline dyno

I just installed the clear corners and Z tube. It took me about 45 minutes total. It was easier than I thought it would be. I can't wait to hit up the dyno again, I don't know if i'll be able to wait until the 24th. I might just have to go up to the dragstrip again this next week to see if it lowers my 1/4 mile times.

Re: Baseline dyno

Nope only performance mod so far is the Z tube. I'm going to take it nice and slow and just factor in an additional $40 to every performance mod that I buy to account for the dyno run after I put the performance mod on.

Re: Baseline dyno

Oh no worries. I just wanted to be certain the K&N was out of the equation.

Thanks. Looking forward to your next Dyno w. Z-tube.

Re: Baseline dyno

Nice job on the dyno! My baseline dyno was 235.11 hp and 227.69 ft-lbs. I don't have the dyno sheet on this computer, but I'll post it later if I can.

Re: Baseline dyno

EverythingG35.com got my order out to me in two business days. Great Service...even though I didn't get any paint seal I saw it on the site as an offer but never received one.

Just paid for my Z-Tube. $50 shipped off of somebody from my350z.com. Good deal. Looking forward to your Dyno.
