Have your driving habits changed with the high cost of gas?

At $128+ per barrel gas prices are getting out of control. I honestly have to say that my driving habits have changed. I try to shift at lower RPMS, coast longer and definitely try not to get on it often. Last time I filled up, it cost me $67.00!!! My wife has a V8 4runner and its costing her $81.00 per week! Our monthy gas cost have gone from $350 per month to $625 per month. Ouch!

Has the price of gas changed you driving habits?

only costs you $67, wow thats cheap i pay over $100 to fill my G. However i am from Toronto Canada and gas is more expensive at 1.40 per liter for sunoco 94.

To answer your question no my habits haven't changed and never will. What has changed is my bicycle is getting more use. so instead of changing my habits i just change my mode of transport and treat myself to the G once in a while.

Lets me enjoy the car more and saves me money. I figure if i ride my bike to work 2-3 times a week its like paying half for gas.

Honestly... Not really. I bought this car for a purpose and I am going to drive it like I want to. Until gas reaches 10 dollars or something then I might reconsider.

I've had my G seven weeks and I still drive it way too much. I'm shelling out over a hundred bucks a tank. I'm not impressed with gas prices!

Not at all.. I keep adding performance mods and keep driving closer to redline... I don't really care, but when I get to the pump and I see 3.95 for premium I say "wtf?" to myself... As soon as I leave the gas station I forget about the prices again and have fun.

Nope, I beat the **** out of the car every time I drive it, guess it pays to not have to daily drive it. Only need to fill it up once a month!
