Re: for you 6mt owners out there

Ya know, I love my clutch. I love the whole short throw feel. Thats the whole reason our clutch is high, all performace clutches (aftermarket) I've ever driven on engaged in the same height/fashion that our G's stock clutch does. Taking away from this is like taking away from the functionality of the design. No easy way outs, learn the clutch, thats half the fun of owning a manual.

PS - when I got this car I felt exactly the same way, there were days I didn't want to take the car out just because I didnt want to deal with the clutch. Now however (Im not exactly the best at driving it yet, but I can do it smoothly and without stalling) I love the clutch and I think if I would have changed it a few months back, I would have regret it now that I love the clutch so much.

Comming out of an older 911 that let out right at the bottom....my G clutch felt like a U Haul truck!
It was a Biotch for me to drive smoothly....the way it let out right at the top....with the pedal way high.
First thing I looked for was an adjustment. Took linkage loose....put (3) complete turns on the yolk.....and BAMM!
Beautiful.....proper engagement point.....lower....Perfect (for me). Much easier to drive.
I'd give it a try.....you can always put it back.

You are only young once.....but you can be immature forever!
