iForged wheels: clearcoat? or polish?

All,

I made multiple searches and read quite a few threads, but none really answered my questions.

I have a set of "polished aluminum" iForged Emotion wheels that I'm looking to polish/shine back to the way they looked when I first got them. After reading many of the posts, apparently it is crucial to know whether the wheels are clear-coated or not. Does anyone know whether iForged clearcoats the wheels? If not, is there a quick/easy way to find out?

Lastly, many people recommend several products to polish non-clearcoated wheels, but assuming these are clearcoated, what could I possibly use to polish them without damaging the clear finish?

Thanks!

What I'm concerned about is that if it rains and I can't get right away to cleaning the wheels, if they dry up and there's dirt/dust on the wheels, it kinda stains them a little. The stains come off but it's difficult, and even after they come off, you can see very light marks of where they used to be.

So I want that crustal clear finish that they had and that people are able to give their wheels...but I'm not sure what product to use.

By the way, I get most of the stains on the rear lips since they are wide and tend to hold more water.

To Clear or not....?

If you're taking your IForged wheels in to have them repaired/polished I'd
have them clearcoated. That would make upkeep much easier and they'll
look better longer.

im new to this myself also but dude that i bought the wheels from taught me. i believe its 3m wetsand paper and theres 1000 grit and 2000 grit. i dipped the 1000 grit sand paper in water and started on the wheels... specially the really dirty parts. then did my wheels with the 2000 grit. after that you need to apply some polish and some wheel wax so you dont have to do this everytime
